This is our retro cottage built in the 60s for the caretaker of Werndee. It is warm and sunny with separate bedroom with queen bed, large kitchen with separate laundry and combined bathroom/toilet with separate shower and bath.

A fold-out single bed can be set up in a corner of the large living room if required. A covered carport, it's own garden with herbs and chillies, and views of trees and distant hills make this a real home away from home.

A good house to stay in for a few days ( or longer) with privacy, a comfy bed, all facilities you might need ( and we like to cook) and hosts who are there without being in your face but friendly at the same time. Nothing was too much trouble. A good walk into Hobart and we will do that next time but catch the bus back. Close enough to coffee shops and indeed all you might need in North Hobart. We will return.
